Allstate Steel's detailing department is located in Jacksonville, Florida. The department consists of nine employees with varying degrees of experience. 100% of the details are drawn with the help of a computer; the primary software used being SDS/2 by Design Data. This software uses a 3-dimensional modeling program that provides assistance in connection design and allows for CNC downloading. We currently have four stations using SDS/2. With access to the internet through a high speed DSL connection, we are able to transfer drawings electronically for approval and fabrication. |
